Goodbye Phuket...

Tomorrow is going to be crazy we have our last teaching and then I have to prepare to LEAVE PHUKET (!) and get a taxi to get a overnight bus to Bangkok! We have a VIP seat which apparently is the only way to travel on bus here or else you are in for a rough ride. We get lay down seats and movies food etc…Felix said it wasn’t bad at all so hopefully I’ll just sleep for atleast half of the 12 hour ride and I will be with two friends in my group who are placed in Bangkok together. When I get to Bangkok it will be HALLOWEEEN which I suspect to also be crazy.

First Week as a Teacher (kind of)

Practice TEACHING!

Day 1: Ahhhhh so I am in the middle of my practice teaches at schools and orphanages! It has been wonderful so far. The days are exhausting and I’m even more busy now (we get up at 7:30 am then I am planning for my next lesson sometimes til 7pm then am beat and ready for bed not much later..) but it is also a lot of fun. My first day I went to a place called Sunshine Orphanage.

(Hello!)

Ok I am finally starting this much delayed blog. I have been in Thailand exactly 2 weeks now and am finally starting to get acclimated and have the time to sit down and write out my experiences thus far. This first post might be all over the place as Its going to be tooons of jumbled thoughts and things I’ve learned but bare with me once I start to keep this up hopefully it will be a little more organized.
